ROM 101

Yeah I know it's supposed to be Room 101 but this is an in-joke for those of us who were at Psion when the 101st version of the Series 5 ROM was supposed to be the bug-free final release. It wasn't.

Anyway here are the worst things in the world.

• Milk puddings
• Instant coffee
• Caffreys and other similar "beers"
  Morris Cerullo and his ilk
  Modern dance "music"
  Shit & stink in the streets
  People who don't put salt in the water when they're cooking potatoes / pasta / rice
  People whose jobs require them to wear humiliating uniforms (MacDonalds/Burger King waiters & waitresses, Haringey's traffic wardens
  The Travelcard "gauntlet" of street drinkers/ticket touts that I have to run each night and morning at Seven Sisters station

2. Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
3. Temporary number three: The Queen Is Dead. Haven't decided on a final one yet. Nominations, anyone? In fact to tell you the truth I haven't even heard "The Queen is Dead" but Morrissey and Sinead O'Connor are probably numbers 4 and five in the world's worst things so it'll do for now.
